eMotion Fleet has conducted OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) connectivity testing with electric vehicle (EV) chargers provided by ABB and has successfully completed the integration verification with eMotion Fleet’s EV Fleet and Energy Management System (FMS/EMS).
This testing has confirmed that eMotion Fleet's FMS/EMS can seamlessly connect with ABB chargers. As a result, fleet operators can remotely monitor and control ABB chargers using eMotion Fleet’s FMS/EMS, enabling real-time acquisition and analysis of charging data. This allows for optimized charging management based on operational schedules. Additionally, by utilizing demand control features, charging can be scheduled outside peak electricity usage hours, reducing costs and alleviating grid load.
Moving forward, eMotion Fleet will continue collaborating with charger manufacturers to support a diverse range of charging infrastructures. By offering flexible solutions tailored to the needs of businesses, eMotion Fleet aims to enhance EV fleet operation efficiency and promote sustainable energy management.
