eMotion Fleet Inc. ( “eMotion Fleet”) announced that it has received the Jury Chairman’s Special Award in the Support Business & Unique Category at the Eco-Drive Activity Contest 2025, organized by Ecodrive concours Secretariat＆Foundation for Promoting Personal Mobility and Ecological Transportation, as known as Eco-Mo Foundation.

The Eco-Drive Activity Contest is a nationwide award program hosted by Eco-Mo Foundation to promote energy efficiency and environmentally responsible driving practices in the transportation and mobility sectors. The contest is held with the cooperation of the Eco-Drive Promotion Liaison Committee, a public–private partnership involving the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), the Ministry of the Environment (MOE), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and the National Police Agency (NPA).

The Committee was established in 1997 by transport-related organizations based on recommendations from the Transport Policy Council’s Comprehensive Subcommittee Report on Measures to Address Global Warming in the Transport Sector.
The report identified activities such as “idling stop” and “driving at appropriate speeds” as highly effective measures for CO₂ reduction and called for their promotion as a national movement. Since then, relevant ministries and industry associations have continued to jointly advance public awareness and implementation of eco-driving practices.
Building on this foundation, the contest recognizes outstanding eco-driving initiatives by companies and municipalities and aims to disseminate successful practices throughout society.

In the Support Business & Unique Category, the contest evaluates innovative products, systems, and services that promote eco-driving. eMotion Fleet was highly commended for its one-stop EV fleet solutions —offering an effective framework that achieves both decarbonization and operational cost efficiency. The company’s comprehensive approach, including EV fleet planning, vehicle and charger deployment, energy management, and real-time data analysis and optimization using advanced telematics “GEOTAB”, has contributed significantly to improving operational efficiency and reducing CO₂ emissions for fleet operators.
