eMotion Fleet is pleased to announce that we won the grand prize of the “AICHI NEXT UNICORN LEAGUE Season 5,” a startup pitch contest hosted by Aichi Prefecture, held on November 25.

This program is jointly operated by Aichi Prefecture and eiicon Co., Ltd., with the aim of fostering the next generation of unicorn companies. In Season 5 under the theme of “Mobility,” ten selected startups, chosen from a large number of applicants, competed in the final pitch session.

eMotion Fleet introduced its one-stop fleet electrification solutions including our proprietary EV Fleet & Energy Management System which centrally manages vehicles, charging and energy. Building on this foundation, we proposed “Commercial Mobility DX/GX Support for Aichi Fleet Operators” centered around following initiatives.

1. Green EV Fleet Hub: Shared charging and green-powered hub enabling small and medium-sized fleet operators to access EV charging infrastructure and renewable energy

2. EV Fleet-as-a-Service: Monthly service model that enables fleet operators to operate EV fleet with zero upfront investment and at cost levels comparable to existing internal combustion engine fleets

3. Hands-on Fleet DX/GX Support: On-the-ground support to low-carbonize existing ICE fleets leveraging our advanced telematics, followed by comprehensive fleet electrification support 

These initiatives were highly evaluated for enabling both decarbonization and fleet economics in logistics and public transportation, while working with businesses, municipalities, and financial institutions in Aichi Prefecture to build a regionally circular Mobility DX/GX model.

Encouraged by this award, eMotion Fleet will continue to strengthen collaboration with local governments and businesses, accelerate fleet and depot electrification , and further accelerate efforts toward building a sustainable mobility society.
